Carilion Clinic Begins Second Phase of Transistion
Carilion Clinic recently announced new leadership roles as the second phase of its Clinic transition begins. The changes will facilitate further development of Carilion’s multi-speciality physician group, and hospital services, to assure “the right care for the right patient at the right time, every time” according to CEO Ed Murphy, M.D. Carilion COO Nancy Agee is now President of Carilion’s hospital division. Chief Medical Officer Mark Werner, MD, has been named President of Carilion Clinic Physicians. The changes were recently covered in the Roanoke Times.
